Gail Launay will become the SDCS's second Executive Director on July 1st following Beth Hochholzer, the group's founding Executive Director. The Choral Society is indebted to Beth for her many years of dedicated leadership and pleased that she will continue singing with us.

Gail Launay joins the Southern Delaware Choral Society with a diverse background in helping organizations and agencies achieve their goals and grow. As owner of Launay Consulting, LLC, Gail has specialized in human service systems at the local, state and national levels. She has provided meeting and event coordination, training, grant writing, mediation, planning, program facilitation and evaluation skills for over 15 years.

Gail received her BA from Rowan University in Speech/ Theatre/ Dance. In addition to her work with the SDCS, she is Governor-appointed to the Delaware Human Relations Commission where she serves as vice-chair. She also serves on the board of directors for the First State Community Action Agency and as a member of the Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth Beach.

She is a long time supporter of the arts and an opera aficionado. She especially enjoys attending performances of the Santa Fe Opera. When not hard at work, she enjoys weightlifting, walking, photography and travel. Gail and her family reside in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
